Golf Research Group has created and developed the only golf course directory
which contains every golf course world wide. We maintain these data via a telephone
survey of every course, every year, and our data tracks over 32,000 courses
each with over 100 fields of information, in 119 countries.
Our research over the past ten years has enabled us to grow and develop comprehensive data on trends in golf prices and course development. For example we have seen, in the developed markets such as the U.S.A., that course expansion (e.g. 9 hole courses expanding to 18 holes, or 18 holes expanding to 27) represents over a third of all development activity. In recent years we have seen in excess of 1,000 new courses being developed each year but current activity has now fallen to half this number.

There are times when our standard reports do not cover specifically the information required.
Course area reports are bespoke to a location; you may have a need for particular data. We will create a highly detailed report for you, containing personalized data from 35 golf courses around a specified location, from our Global Directory of 32000 golf courses in 119 countries around the world.
By
selecting specific data from the 100 fields of information per course within
our database, we can create a comprehensive report. We will also interpret the
data it contains, analyze it and relate this to your project.
